How much? And do you want stock engine or a freshly built one?

stock engine is fine, just looking for a cheap one for a project. preferablly running

An engine and frame isn't the easiest of items. Throw out a dollar figure you want to spend.

I've found plenty of good deals on here. No one is going to give anything away though

Not looking for any hand outs. Just working with a budget...
I've seen frames go for as little as 900- 2500
I'm willing to spend 1000$ as much as 1500$

I think you are dreaming if you think you will find a good engine and frame for $1500, but good luck on your search!

I have a 08 motor real low miles / km wire harness exhaust injection air box and dash cluster I sold the rest of the parts 1600

Well, you said your budget was $1,500, not $3,000.

Good luck with your venture, but I guess I am to slow to tell you about one lightly wrecked bike I know about.

So how much for that "built" one?
