As far as I know all the rear tire huggers for 09-14 R1's were made out of black plastic. Some companies do make a carbon fiber one though.

might look a bit tackey up close if the job is lazy, but while looking for someone who can make it for you; you can get a vinyl that's yamaha blue and black woven carbon fiber. would look pretty cool

do inside and outside though, you see the tire side of it more then you see the outer side anyway

I’ll have to try find that vinyl, if I can find it, I’ll do the front fender and the rear fender

They were all black 09-14, and the chain guard is integral to the rear fender. I think a body color one would look weird.
