Hi all just a quick question, will the bike run with just the std ecu and a yec loom? If found loads of posts saying you need a yec loom to use a yec ecu but nothing vive versa. Originaly I bought the loom to build the wreck into a track bike but now thinking about going back on the road so will need a normal loom I know but for now I just want to get it runningm

As far as I know you need YEC brain to run YEC loom-as its for racing compatibility-thats for UK-might be different for US

YEC loom doesn't have anything for indicators, headlights or brakelights. If you can live without those on the road, then your std ECU should be able to fit to the YEC Loom no problems (I assume your in the US. If your not in the US, then you'll need a std loom to fit your std ecu).
