and out west may ride year round but you do not get the incredible riding weather that fall has to offer! I went for a ride yesterday it was about 60 and very low humidity, when its like that the only thing you have to think of is cramming the throttle through the twisties. This fall has had the best weather for riding, so far...the bad thing is is going to be the last weekend?:(

...and down here we still have a month or 2 of 'comfortable' riding left. After that I may have to break out the long johns and my leathers. Right now in central TX, high in the low 80s, low in the low 60s...PERFECT!

We do get weather like that. It's called the dead of winter. :fact
Yeah, our fall weather is not as cool as yours, but it's starting to
get into the time of year where the riding here is enjoyable. It's
been a long summer of sweating my butt off. Our summer rains
have started to end and the lower humidity is just around the
corner. The next few months will offer some of the best riding
down here. Hey, you should come down and join us.:p Oh, I
forgot your bike will be in cold storage.:cryin

I lived in Florida for a good ten years, you can have your buggy, humid, sand filled straight roads, I'll go ahead and brave the cold on the twisties...

Yeah, the bugs are a pain and the humid summers don't help it
any, but actually there are some real nice twisties in my area
of Florida. I have a course mapped out that I try to run once a
week if I can. I don't keep chicken strips on my tires on this
course.
