I was there and wanted to know wtf happened to Rossi! Don't go onto the internet unless you want to know what happened... like what I just did!!!

Anyway, My wife and I were standing at the entrance to turn 3 and saw Rossi pass by... we thought he had a possible podium finish, next lap.... all the racers pass and Rossi wasn't there. Next thing we know... we saw him pushing his bike accross the track and hiding underneith a flag workers stand, to get out of the sun.

about a lap before he started slowing down I noticed his tire had some strange wear lines. I thought the tire may have been cooked, i told my friends his tire looked cooked. but then when I saw the smoke on decel i thought it was his motor.

Maey the tire was cooked, so he was spinning the rear too much and he blew the motor???

its been posted many times, he had to slow down because of the missing chunks from his tire, which resulting in overheating the bike...

When I saw the thread title I throught WTF, since when did the tire go. I was watching that race and I saw him blowing mad smoke. Good to know I didn't miss something...
