I wonder if they removed the 1st and 2nd gear restrictions as the "fix". That would make the bike much more responsive in those gears.

My dealer is installing mine now. I paid them to do a run on the dyno before and after justs for grins.

I just installed mine. After a brief test, the lag went bye bye. You can add Razee's in R.I as a dealer that is on board.

Just put the new ECU in an hour ago and it is fixed. I repeat, my bike is fixed. Praise the Lord!

So even though it's no fault of their own the dealer should pay for the dyno runs? If anyone should have to pay it would be Yamaha....

Why should they pay for the dyno runs. They don't give a sh*t about the numbers. I was curious so I asked them to do it. Everyone is claiming they notice a difference in power with the new ECU so I thought I would get formal info. After all, this is the one and only time I will have the chance.

<------- My lag is fixed :yesnod - although I did not notice a difference elsewhere, I am still very pleased. I did have to ride home in HEAVY traffic, so I will see how it feels when I get a chance to take the bike through it's paces. I am interested in seeing what results the dyno shows in back to back runs. Please post the information when you have it.

My new ECU is on the way. Took a little more effort with the service department than I would've liked to finally get this done, but it's done. Probably won't actually be shipped until tomorrow but either way I'll be lag free next week :rock:fork:rock

So what are you trying to say? No one has mentioned anything about a NEW LAG?
