Rode the R1 into work today. Bike temp actually hit 205 at a stop light and it was only 7:30am-ish. Usually it runs 165-175-ish at that time of day. Its gonna be a scorcher today :rock

it's noto fun to ride in leather with it's that hot, but if your not sitting in traffic it's ok.

Wheres the bike night at., There one tomorrow night in Freehold NJ that I go to that a blast.
Bike night is at the Fuddruckers in New Brunswick... on RT.1 It gets pretty packed out there. I heard about the one in Freehold... was gonna go last week.. but the rain washed it out.

I'm in phoenix and I stopped riding the bike to work last week. You know it's bad when you leave for work at 6:30am and the temp in the shade is already 90+ degrees. The last day I rode to work, it was 113 on my way home. It felt like I was driving through an oven.

My parents also ride (harleys) and they use a "chill vest" when they ride in the summer. It is a pretty cool device. You soak this vest in water for 10 minutes or so and then ring it out. You put it on under a mesh jacket so it has good air flow. It uses evaporation to cool you. I tried it out last Sunday when it was like 111 degrees and it kept me pretty cool. When I took it off my skin was cold to the touch. The only thing that doesn't change is the air temp that is being forced into your helmet. It gets tough to breath that for long periods of time.

I will probably look into getting one of those chill vests for myself so I can get some early morning rides in and get back before it gets stupid hot.

At least all of you guys live in temperate zones and have seasons. It's summer all year long around here, 90+ and humidity on 85+. That's why i love my home town, it stays on the 60-70's all year around because of it's altitude.

The heat is kiling me too and the bike is in the box for now. Today was 40 deg. C around 115-120 F and at one point I was thinking to park beside the road and take a cab. And now it's confirmed we (Balkan region) are becoming sub tropical climate only summer and rain season.

The best time to ride is the autumn perfect weather around 25 C and weak traffic can't wait for September and october :riding

But from the other side the girls here like the heat :boobies and if you don't know we have the best looking womans taking into account the brazilians too. So there is huge problem with target fixation too :sing:

I live in the high desert, it is always 90+ and usually 100+ and I ride all the time...just put a camelbak on and make sure that you drink the water. Now I can understand the dry hot air...it gets like that every once in a while and that sucks...but even then the sweat will make the air cool you off...

I would rather it be hot and humid than have snow :fact Bring on the HEAT.
