I want to get a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III.........

Has anyone else tried these tyres yet.....

I want to see what all the fuss is about, after using the P.Powers....:dunno

Ride safe.....:riding

Yeah, i used a front and found it worked really well, did 3 trackdays on it and about 7000 km and it was still offering good grip. Just swapped to a supercorsa pro though and it feels a lot better in terms of tipping into a corner, although i haven't ridden in the wet yet with it.

A great tire It's the best tire I have tried for aggressive street riding and track days. No complaints so far. Quick warm up, Long tread life and excellent grip.

How'd you find the thread life on the back tyre. Gotta mate on a Gixer 750 and it only lasted 1700ks. Most of that was fast country rides. I'm considering puttings a Corser III on the front and a Diablo on the back, What'd u recon?

Ask Eric.. he practically needs a new set of tyres on his R6 every fortnight.. I'd be surprised if he hadn't tried them. :yesnod
:stpd:

though i believe it's closer to every week :secret:

I bought my bike new with stock Corsa's, and they are stunning tyres.

Sticks well, not bad on wet and good thread life. High speed corner entry and braking is wll tolerated byboth front and rear, the dual compound en lateral support works well.

I would advise on performance cycles not to have different makes of tyres front and rear, it may work for some but it's designed to work together.

Make sure when you buy Corsa III for the 07 R1 you mention it to the dealer, there is some E & L spec front and back. The manual refers to it.

Never had Pilot Powers before but I heard good things too, but Corsa III rate better, especially on the R1.

Buy 'me ... you'll never look back.
