Scott's was bullet proof. Didnt like the form factor. Ohlins piston unit is good, no problems.

Both are good. Very purposeful update on the bike. Tankslappers can be deadly...

I have been thinking of getting the hyper-pro. I know Shane runs it on his R6.

Go with the Ohlins for your bike. There's already a spot out of the way. I've had no problems with any of the others.

So far we havent' had one issue with any scotts/hyperpro/ohlins. Most dampers all seem to be bullet proof and come down to cost/looks. The only exception is the gpr which is known to leak oil. To date we haven't had one defective part with any of the three i mentioned above which is pretty amazing. Quality control and quality parts for sure...

Good to know that. Thanks.

Glad I saw this thread. So much for the GPR! Looks like I'm getting a Scotts even though there was a drop in price on motomummy.

I dig my ohlins.
You may not be able to adjust it on the fly, but it sits in the stock spot, takes up no extra room, it is easy to adjust, and looks nice :)

just FYI, Ohlins is Scotts or vice versa I should say...just a different type of damper. The piston style Ohlins is not as adjustable on the fly as a scotts....

Personally, I think scotts looks the best. Its centered and clean looking. Im a nut for symmetry. Gotta be equal....
