will someone fill me in. i only had a chance to see last 5 laps of second race, haga and fabi going at it.

where was ben, what happened? man he starting to piss me off now.

I think Ben will bounce back after receiving 50pts at miller. If we think we are frustrated from all of Ben's misfortunes, i could imagine what Ben is going through. I think he'll take the next 6 races to close the gap on Nori. This will come down to the last race of the season to declare the winner. If not, maybe next year:flex:

Those Ducs are total domination....Duc 1 and 2. Nori is riding so smooth and effortless. I hope Yamaha is learning from this and comes up with an R12 Vtwin.

well, i was reffering to ben. if he stopped dropping the bike, maybe then shit would not be so fragaile to break, and maybe then he would ride across a finish line.

but yea its starting to get old with this kid.
What the hell are you talking about he's only dumped the bike twice!! Both times he was leading, the other DNF's were due to running out of gas and a broken shift leaver. Apart from that 5 wins and 2nds and 3rds, during his rookie season for Gods sake.

Even today he road the wheels of the bike on a circuit that clearly favoured the Ducs. I don't know what you expect from a rider but if Ben isn't living up to your expectations the problem isn't Ben but rather your exceptions and level of understanding!!!!!!

you guys are crazy.

brand new bike, brand new team, brand new tracks and hes in the top 3 in championship points.

yes it is very fustrating to see ben not finish at a weekend consistently but sh*t happens. lets just hope no more little mistakes occur for the rest of the season, if thats the case, he should have a REALLY good chance in taking the title.

haga's only competition is ben. everybody else is more inconsistent than ben.

That Yamaha couldn't win a drag race to save it's life. Sucks to get pole every week just to fade to 3rd on every start. And it's not Spies, he clearly gets an immediate jump but that fookin mule stubborns up and digs its heels in shortly thereafter.

Yup, he's getting off the line really well, but gets swallowed up before turn one. Awesome move on Max in race 1 though!

He was getting killed in the fast corners too. Nothing new. The new R1 has a lot of potential, but is not the best bike on the grid. Spies is just killing it. If he was on that new Zook it would look like the AMA :crash

I totally agree. Some people are forgetting this is his rookie season in WSBK.

there is no need for name calling fiveO, just expressing my 02, and if you dont like it well thats your problem. same goes for the finger guy. like i said here before, we all friends here...
anyways......................................................

so you telling me for example, that you been driving a car for 10 years and one day you buy a brand new different model car, and that you should be reffered to as a rookie/beginer driver.

there is no ****in rookie season, the guy has been racin for 10 years, you cant call him a ****in rookie, and he showed that to everyone the way he races. and, all im saying that every ****in race something gives. he's like a drama queen, hopefully for not long..

Spies has Never raced the European Circuit all the tracks except for 1 or 2 are new to him. Therefore he is a ROOKIE due to his lack of experience riding tracks that other riders in the series have been racing for years.

Calling Ben Spies a drama queen is just way out of context and I really wonder if your using the right words to describe what your feeling. Spies
qualifies well due to his ability to use his qualifying tires to the limit, what gives in the races is the fact that he knows going 25 laps the way he rides isn't going to help the tires at all. So what gives? Tires, The bike(kylami) and in Italy it was fuel......Those are not the symptoms of a drama queen, those are the symptoms of a rider using the bike beyond it's limits. Something 99% of the riders in the world can't do.........

..

No one said he was a rookie to riding. Example... when guys play college sports and then they jump to the Majors, NFL or NBA... they are considered rookies cause its a new league... same goes for Ben. Hes in a brand new leaugue.

Spies is the man, just wait and see.

He is lying 3rd in the SBK Championship, for his first season on a new bike he is rocking it.

The small glitches will sort itself out. Remember Haga has a win or crash habit. He had a good start to the season, Spies will will have a good end and will win the championship with 2 races left.

Go !!!!!!! :fork

Geez cut Ben some slack.

HE IS A ROOKIE !! New bike...new team...new circuits...foreign countries...I mean come on !! :lol

He's doing a he11 of a lot better than the only other guy on an R1...Sykes. :dunno

Miller will be half way through the season and I hope the string of bad luck ended in Kyalami. Haga of course will get faster as well and the battle will continue..... just as long as Frabrizio stays third.
I agree, Kyalami is a bitch of a circuit, I've done some track days there, it was the first time SBK ran there (except for testing in the beginning) ut it is an awesome track and I live 10 miles from it :flex:

The season will get better :fact
