But i wasn't being squidish. He was trying to get the person in front of me but didn't have his siren going. At a stop sign he hit his short burst horn and i look around. He is all pissed and i'm like WTF. I tell him i ddin't see him behind me he's like your equipment is defective then. So my question is (keep in mind i'm wide up top) How do i set my mirrors to see directly behind me? Will pig spotters work better? He only gave me a warning and a ticket for no insurance which i have just didn't put the new cards in.

bar end is the way to go.

I have one mirror for freeway riding and one aimed higher for somewhat sitting up. I can still pretty much use both mirrors in any positions. It just requires raising a head on one and ducking a bit for the other. I like to know what the idiot behind me is doing, especially if she's is texting while driving.

I use my stock mirrors w. little blind spot sticky mirrors on the inside part of the mirror(that shows me my chest ha)- I don't know how you guys ride without them or with those bar end mirrors. I change lanes constantly and like to know where the cars are around me. Plus they are extremely helpful when johnny law is behind me!

Turn your head jk I seriously look around a lot because I havn't ridden with mirrors in a long time. Thinking about getting a bar end for those times when I'm sittin at a red light and a dump could rear end me and I wouldn't have seen it coming.

IMO, the bar ends are better than stock mirrors. I see great behind me and to the sides. I even converted my brother to using them. He hated his stock mirrors on his 09 CBR. My bro-in-law just picked up a 07 zx6r and can't see behind him due to his jackets air flow. He'll be switching soon too.

bar ends are your best option plus they clean your front up a lot.

Pig spotters cleaned up my R6 but to see anything behind me I had to peek through the space made between my arm and body. Also the LEDs during the day aren't visible at all.
