I just got my tickets in and am totally effing psyched.

I am trying to decide what route to take. Should I take the 101 or should I take highway 1? I'll be leaving around 5pm Thursday. Google maps is telling me around 2 and a half hours on 101 and 3 and a half on the 1. Do I take the scenic route or do I takes the express?

i was wondering if u guys could point me to a good cheap hotel around the track ill be heading up thursday after work and it will be a five hr drive for me.. just never been and looking for advise. thanks

Last I heard there were few rooms left and the rates were outrageous.

Ok guys we are down to the last few days before the GP! Let's chime in if your coming so we can all try to meet up. I am having a BBQ at my house Thursday for anyone that is interested, pm me for info. Everyone else ( all forum members) let's try to plan on a place to meet, I know that some are meeting Saturday at sly mcflys on cannerey row. Let's try to figure out a time, and maybe get a meet up at the track one day. Either way this is a killer chance for us to meet up and have a great weekend.
