man that's just LA

the joint get hott
yea, i usually wear my motorcyle riding pants (not leather or jeans) and my motocross jersey with a tshirt under it. its too comfortable and i love the wind. my pants definetly are abrasion resistant because i crashed with it. also i had 2 shirts, a sweater, and my motocross jersey and all i got is a scrape on my shoulder. thats maybe because i fell on the grass first, but its still good protection and more comfortable than leather for me.

ill admit i was squidly uptil mayb the beginning on this year. i had no leathers just a Nitro textile jacket. id go 4 a ride with a jacket n jeans and do some really spirited riding. OH and yes i use to wheelie the crap outa my bike at every junction. in hindsight it was a learning curve as i feel soooooo much more confident with full kit. i dont do the wheelie thing either i guess i realized the bike has 2 wheels for a reason and im just causing excessive wear 4 no good reason....please b nice...LOL :)

Here's a perspective on squids to consider.....in many countries, beside the USA, you cannot go out and buy a large cc bike unless you have gained experience on smaller bike! Example; for a first timer on a bike you can only purchase a bike no bigger than 250cc, ,and after 2 years of successful riding you can then move up to a bike no bigger than 500cc, and then after 2 more years of successful riding you can then move up to a 1000cc or bigger bike. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, squids are not likely associated to any brand but more so to their age and experience. Just a thought!!!

Here being stupid is ok.

:finger:fingerWhat if I wear an icon field armor. I'm wearing protective gear:drunk:. Ya everyone makes a good point. Alot squids around my area. Most of them on gixxers though.
Oh you really guilty now... I have some icon stickers and patches if you want them, they're yours... :lol

every brand has ever different type of rider out there...all there is to it. i've seen very knowledgeable and mature stunters, show bike builders, street riders, racers. I've also seem some of the most ignorant and immature stunters, show bike builders, street riders, and racers. This goes for all bike makers as well. The brand fighting is funny at times, but in all honesty I don't think you can judge someone based on what they ride.
You're correct, the 3 squids I saw on Sunday happened to be on the latest and greatest 09 R1s... I foresee a trend. :(

I will admit, I was a squid today.:( It was 115 here today, and I just rode into work with a T-shirt. I will now say 5 Our Fathers, and read my R-1 manual 3 times.
Don't be religulous. :finger: :lol

FL definitely takes the cake...we Californians have a helmet law, so everyone rocks a lid -- Florida on the other hand.......
thanks for letting me know where to move if I need an organ. :thumbup

Hey we have a convert... :thumbup

I always thought that the GSXR was a squid bike.
I always thought that the R1 was a poser bike.
