That thing sounds sick!!! Kind of puts you in mind of a Brocks Sidewinder exhaust as far as the sound goes.

 

If youv'e heard the sound of this system- you know that this is the meansest exhaust made for the 04-06 R1
The Flush Mount-Style was only made for 04-06 year, and these are hard to find.
Vids show the 06 with the exhaust installed- but the sound cannot be duplicated- it is VISCOUS and Revs with amazing "sound".
This full exhaust is the same used in MOTO GP. It also fits 03 R1 and older models. I had it installed on my 03 R1.

I'd take it for the header. Does that tip part come off after the collector?

 

The whole exhaust is actually 7 peices. 4 header (pieces), 2 (mid pieces), then to 1.

 

It's actually 8 pieces... And are all the springs included, or are some missing..?

What's the condition of the packing, or is there any...?

You willing to trade (+ some $) for a different exhaust...?

I think you right. I went from memory cause I'm out of town. When I get to it I'll answer all of your questions. As far as a trade I already have an exaust for my bike already so I don't need another but thanks for asking.

Yes it's still for sale. I had it on my 03 R1 so 02-03 are the exact same set up so yes it will fit.
