I read the instructions on installing the PC from the Power Commander website. Refering to Step 6 & 7 where a wire tap is necessary to crimp to a white wire. Do I have to cut the white wire and put it in the wire tap?
+1Yes, and don't forget Dielectric Grease...
ensures the best possible connection.
true dat.I hate those clips!!
My opinion cut and solder, then heat shrink it.
bump for what? all the answers you need are above already... go to radio shack or lowes or whatever and ask for vampire clips and dielectric grease or solder it in or do you need further hand holding?bump

You don't need to cut the wire. I had to tap into one of those wires when I put a PC3 on my '06 R6 only I'm thinking it was a blue wire I tapped into. Anyway, all I did was very carefully strip back the blue wire with a razor blade then loop the PC wire tightly around it and solder. Then I used black electrical tape to insulate it. Just be very careful when stripping back the white wire. You don't want to cut into it.I read the instructions on installing the PC from the Power Commander website.
