Hi,

anyone on here with a zero gravity SR screen for the 09 R1?
Just ordered mine through motomummy in dark smoke.

I'm currently riding the dark smoke puig screen, but as you might know...the fitment isn't really that great (considering this one is already the replacement sent to me directly though puig) + it has a purplish tint to it + i dont really need a double bubble screen.

So, any comments/pics on the ZG SR screen (dark smoke) for the 09 R1?

How is the fitment..any issues?

I heard that tey're pretty thin (thinner material than puig)..any problems with that?

The ZG screens also dont seem to be tinted at the bottom (you would be able to see all the cables behind the screen in the front cowling).. does this problem exist with the dark smoke version as well?

I'd be glad for any input. I already ordered the screen, just need some advice to see if the decision was right or not when compared to the puig screen.

I have a ZG and I am very happy with it, fit, color & finsh. I had a Puig and what a waste of time and money.

how about not being tinted at the bottom? can you see the cables through it with a smoked screen?

if you get a dark smoke zg then the entire thing is dark smoke so you can't see anything behind the gauge cluster.

@gsxcorey: ok, thanks a lot. i ordered the zg screen this morning from you. Did you have any fitment issues with the SR screens like puig did with the double bubble ones?

Reason im asking is, since it's a long way to germany (where i live), i'd rather make sure beforehand instead of finding out the hard way like i did with the puig screen (was close to a heart attack due to my screaming and cussing trying to fit the puig screen ).

I originally got a puig but as you found out as well the fit is a little off. I ended up getting a ZG though motomummy as well and it fit perfect.
