So i just spilt some oil on my tire. How do i clean it off so that when i ride it won't be like riding on ice?

someone suggested brake clean. Would this work?

Just soap and water it off.....

don't use brake fluid just use hot water and soap, scrub, scrub, scrub. Even when you do ride on it take it easy treat it like a knew tire.

i rub quick dry on my tires to remove fluids/oils, reapply a couple times then wash off with water

yeah, it cleans the tires silicones and dries the natural petroleum based rubber well too

Could get some buffing liquid that is used to fix a flat tire. That stuff will cut it out good. I've found that the best option is to get out and just do a good burnout though.

maybe if used in excess. you spray it on a rag and wipe the spot of oil off and it may dry out 1/64 of a inch but how long does it take to wear that off?

try rubbing alchohal pretty good rubber cleaner, idk how well it will work for this situation but worth a shot
