Quit talking and line 'em up. On a closed course with proper safety gear.

It depends. Are you talking about top speed? I see your comparing stock bike vs stock bike. The '03 has tons of low and mid-range power. The '07's power band is on the top end. Plus, the '07 has the throttle lag at 5500 rpm's in second gear unless the ECU has been replaced. The '03 should be able to walk away from the '07 down low to mid-range, but the '07 would reel it back in on top end. The average '02/'03 R1 puts down around 130 to 135 HP to the rear wheel in stock trim.

i'm ok with linning mine up with any '07

i'm so bad, my bike comes out the whole in a bunny hop...:scared

this is what i do to all '07s----->:flush:

Yeah at this rate in 10 years the 2020 R1 will have 10 horspower at the rear wheel. :crash
ahh, but imagine the handling!:boobies:scared

The 2nd gear lag is there if you search for it, it is a complete non issue if you are racing or hammering on the bike. The 03' has better low end and mid range but that only counts for the first couple of gears before the '07 will walk away slowly.

Lemme guess, in a straight line, right?
