Based on the percentages of bikes that were on display in downtown Indy over the weekend, I'm surprised the Yamaha tent wasn't full of Harleys. :fact

On Saturday night I watched some asshat on a stretched out 1987 or so gixxer rear end the bike in front of him when he was trying to rev his engine and slipped the clutch a bit :shake I'm surprised there wasn't more wrecks

Sadly, when I went to the ducati event with Rex, there were 2 bikes there with no chicken strips. Mine and the one Nicky rode to test the IMS surface.

Even the Desmosedici had chicken strips.

Ugh. Some of those bikes are pretty gross.

I guess bike show bikes are more show than go, since the average viewing public doesn't have a clue. You could take a tricked out race bike and most people could hardly tell it from stock.

But stretch it and put a stupid tire on it and some bright colors and shiny bits, then it's like ooooh, aaaah.

last year i had 100 some pictures. this year i took about 20 because there was nothing to take pictures of. still shit for girls, no bikes that i haven't seen before for the most part and no real new attractions. i spent more time in the bmw and honda tents individually than around yamaha's shit. i really don't see myself buying another one unless they do something right for a chance in the future.
