i still love the rush of street riding but i understand. Yeah i got it, i'm somewhat on the fence. The good thing is blackhawk mini gun is fun, the apache longbow is cool and they have a spooky....looks better than cod.....Can't go wrong with the Tomcat:flex:. The flying is different than the other games.....no barrel rolls,loops, split s's unless another fighter has you engaged in a dogfight. The story is decent and I haven't really played the online yet. I'd say rent it, I like it but I don't love it like the others.

I do some backroads riding here...not just in city traffic. I have my route set up so I can string together turns to get a good ride in. Even when I hit the apex just right in some of my favorite turns, I notice it doesn't feel the same. Mainly because you are not stringing many complicated turns consecutively like on the track. It is just boring on the street. :dunno

Oh, and yeah, as usual - I had some stupid f*ck in Chevy S10 pull out right in front of me. I am making a left turn at an intersection and he does a right on red right in front of me. I was already leaned over in the turn and he saw me when he started rolling with a suprised look on his face....but instead of stopping he just continued out in front of me. I had the lift the bike up to brake and I had to split the lane between him and the car in the lane next to me to not hit him. Pulled up along his window and screamed the usual, gave him the finger, and left a massive dent in his fender. :shake

I HATE riding on the street. :fact

:fact... I have left a number of dents in vehicles over the years.... btw the R1 is way fun now... LOL jumped out on MLK saturday on the way to the yamaha shop and then looked down and had to let off the throttle... hit 100 in a couple of seconds...LOL

and yeah there is nothing like riding on the track to test your abilities, plus it is much more fun, but the street will test your attention span as well as your abilities... to avoid dumbasses and death that is... :lol
