Is that a pet snake or did he just randomly happen upon your bike?? Sweet bike by the way. I have been jonesing for an Aprillia for some time now (Tuono more than Mille), but doubt funds will allow it in the near future.

Because it's a torque monster.

Guys are always hating twins but always want to ride 'em. Even green tree snakes.
Damn straight Petrol....LOL.....They are torque monsters, don't knock um unless you try um...Twins are really very fun to ride. Uncle Petrol, you going to be picking up another twin?

Hey man, tell us about the aprilia. I might get one. But I really do not want a high maintenance bike like Ducatis.

I heard aprilias are great as far as maintenance and reliability. Can you fill me in? How hard is maintenance? Cost of ownership.

I want a bike that will last a long time like my r1.

I own a Mille R and a 916. IMHO , the Mille is easier to ride, very reliable, and far less expensive. If I had to choose one, it would be the Mille. I bought it used and some good used ones are going for around $8,000....I personally would buy the Mille R. Comes stock with Ohlins suspension, and OZ wheels. My Ducati is very costly to maintain and is more prone to breakdowns. This is just in my case, I am sure you will find guys with Ducs that say they have no problems. But for the most part, I baby the Duc much more. Hope this helps.....Larry
