I'm looking to purchase a new set of wheels for my DH for his birthday, and obviously I know very little about motorcycles, so I need some help picking the right fit for his bike. He mostly rides long distances and enjoys going on motorcycle routes, if that's any help for choosing a good set of tires.

Thanks! :)

I would say look at the Michelin Road 2 or Road 3, those tires are going to be best all around. Dollop Q2's are good but they don't have the life, you can expect to get 3000 to 4000 miles from the Q2 where the Road 2 you will get 6000 to 7000 the road 3 being softer then the road 2 you get 5000 to 6000 out of them. The trade off is the Q2 will have better grip being a softer tire.
Good luck

just got my pr2's on and 50miles in and i love them! stickier than i thought and i don't mind at all! came from 2ct's and i don't miss it at all! I commute mostly on my bike now.
