Very simple. If you're sitting on the bike, it's on the left side just under the bottom edge of the tank. Get a flashlight and you'll see it just between the frame and the tank. You'll need a flat-head screwdriver. :hellobye

I found the screw , but i turned it all the way clockwise until it was tight and the idle never went up:confused: , however it did smooth out. any ideas?
 Did you turn the right one? You need to let the bike warm up and then turn it. It can be done my hand but be carefull since it is a little warm in there :)

If you have an '03 it is not a screw!!!! You probably tightened the wrong thing! It is a knob, to tighten or loosen by hand. If you look, as was posted by someone else, with a flashlight you will find it!

The screw i turned was in between the tank and the frame. I turned it back to where it was ( its marked with white paint) hope i didn't fvck anything up!! So the knob is above the crank? Is it behind the plastic? Cause all i see and feel is vaccum lines.

YUP WRONG ONE.................
GO BACK, AT YOUR SHIFTER WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE ENGINE, THERE IS A MOUNT, JUST FOWARD TO THAT THERE IS A BRACKET AND YOU WILL SEE THE IDLE SCREW THERE. ITS UNDER A BUNCH OF HOSES, UNDER THE LEFT MID FARING.

BUT I DID THE SAME THING AT FIRST, THAT SCREW YOU TURNED IS FOR SYN.
