If you have an '03 it is not a screw!!!! You probably tightened the wrong thing! It is a knob, to tighten or loosen by hand. If you look, as was posted by someone else, with a flashlight you will find it!Ckempf said:I found the screw , but i turned it all the way clockwise until it was tight and the idle never went up, however it did smooth out. any ideas?

GO BACK, AT YOUR SHIFTER WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE ENGINE, THERE IS A MOUNT, JUST FOWARD TO THAT THERE IS A BRACKET AND YOU WILL SEE THE IDLE SCREW THERE. ITS UNDER A BUNCH OF HOSES, UNDER THE LEFT MID FARING.
BUT I DID THE SAME THING AT FIRST, THAT SCREW YOU TURNED IS FOR SYN.
the owner's manual for carbed bikes suggest checking every 3,000 miles. i'm betting it's the same with the throttle bodies. i haven't done mine, but mine only has 3500 miles on it.Paul.R1 said:you might need to get the throttlebodies synced..
