Hi, this might take a while......
Ok, so i fell off my 2003 5pw 2 years ago, got it home put it in the garage and didnt look at it again until last summer. I stripped it down to get it painted, this included removing the tank. I had it running the day i took it apart and rode it round the block. This is the last time i had it started!! I put it back together and it fails to start, it turns over but wont fire. I have sprayed fuel down the throttle body and it fires up but only briefly. It has now started displaying codes 12 and 22 on the dash and the engine management light is always on, but it has only recently started doing this, for ages it didnt display these codes but still wouldnt start. I have a friend with the same model and i have borrowed his tank to see if it was a fuel pump problem, but even with his tank it wont fire. I am at a loss any help would be greatly appreciated.
The bike has a power commander and quickshift fitted, im not sure if this makes any difference!
Also forgot to mention the tank was repainted with the rest of the bike!
Cheers
