I have an 07 with a k and n, akro slip on.

The issue I am having is at start up. (the below issue happened with the standard cans also)

Pressing the ignition button the motor cranks and the engine fires but it seems to be struggling to continue to fire on its own and needs the starter motor held on longer.

When I purchased the bike the guys was trying to show me how to adjust the air fuel mixture with the dash. I am pretty sure the guy had no idea what he was doing and just played around with the settings and stuffed them up.

I don't have a power commander and at this stage won't be installing one.

My track bike is 04 and has the same mods and start fine with factory ECU

Does anyone know how to reset the mixtures back to the factory settings.

I want to try this before doing anything about power commander.

You can't change the air fuel mixture on the stock cluster lol. Unless he has some type of aftermarket thing installed near the cluster? Has the bike been tuned? May want to have the ECU checked out by SBK.

I 'm not sure what he was talking about changing.

But he was holding the buttons down on the instrument cluster and rambling on about something. There isn't anything aftermarket stuff near the cluster. I remember him talking about adjusting something, which I thought it shouldn't be something to mess with if you didn't know what you are doing.

I will check the owners manual today to see if I can get a better idea of what he was messing with.

Getting the ECU checked or flashed. The only drama is I am in australia and don't think there is anyone local to do it for me.

Check plugs and coils. I'm willing to bet one of the plugs is sooty as shit. It means that cylinder is firing with a weak spark or with low combustion chamber compression.

The chances are that one of the intake valves has the stems worn off where the guide contacts it. This leads to a poor seal at the valve intake, causing poor combustion.

This was a problem with the 2007s.

I wasn't going to mention that yet, but OP my bike did the same exact thing you're describing before I found out I had a bad intake valve guide and valve.
