hey guys can you help me out
i dont know how to read that diagram crap!(
i need to find the colors of 2 wires under my seat!

can you help me find out what color wires i have to tap into on my 03 r1 to get the remote start to work?

i need to find out what color wire on my bike (under the seat)
is the "switched power side of the ignition?
the" switched power side" of the ignition is the dead wire (when the key is turned it connects with this wire and makes it hot)
or maybe the wire is on the side of the bike?

and i need to find out what color on my bike (under the seat ) is the starter relay
i think they mean the wire for the push start button

because the ingition wire will make turn on,
then you always keep the kill switch on and the other wire i need to hook up (on the push button start ) will be the dead side of that , so when i push the keypad again it will make the dead side hot and start the bike!

if you can help me find theses 2 wires that would be awsome thanks Dave 203 667 9980

well ya in a way

the ignition i know know at the fus box there is the brown with green strip is dead until you put the
ignition on

but the starter relay one i dont know

there is 4 wires on it the to wires are hot all the time and 2 are not
when you turn the ignition on they all are hot, but i dont know witch one is the one to hook it up to to start the bike?
is one of those wires the push botton starter?
i think i need that one right?
i dont knnow witch is that wire

Ok,the one you"re missing is for remote start?

If so,it has to trigger...so since 2 are always hot,you want to trigger one of the other 2.

...and since all 4 are hot (+),no chances of messing anything,so try both all till pleased!

Use an xtra piece of wire to do tests.

NO :no
STILL STUCK ON THAT STARTER WIRE

ALL THE OTHER IS OK

YOU HIT THE START AND THE BIKE TURNS ON AND YOU HERE THE JETS PRIME FOR START UP BUT IT DOESNT TURN OVER!!

GOT TO FIND OUT WHAT WIRE ON THE BIKE TO
PUT THE BLUE ON THE ALARM

FOR THE STARTUP

I"m sure some here installed one...they just have to lift the seat.....

But still,I"m against remote starters on bikes...its easy enough to steal them, and stories about buttons being pushed by mistake and cars runnign alone in parking lots is not unheard of;imagine if that happens to you...all a thief has to do is break the ignition lock and go away!
