It says 190nm, my '09 is 150nm.

Can anyone confirm the 190nm ? Seems a lot.

That is correct...Or 137 FT.PNDS.... I have all the torque settings if anyone needs them?

It's adequate torque for the application and it's an area of the bike that's looked over frequently. We also use an r-clip to retain the nut.

Other teams use similar numbers. If you're on the street, I'd recommend going with the OEM spec.

you look fast in your pics eddie but I gotta say I don't think the nut coming off is the entire issue...you might have the whole axle shifting under acc, deccel, etc etc The chain is pulling pretty hard on them there sprockets!!!!

But are you thinking of buying an R1 to race or what??!!

We have one. Ridden it several times so far. Heading to Road Atlanta for the Cycle Jam in a couple weeks.
