A couple of things,

my God this bike is hot, especially the right side, almost got burnt today. My inner thigh was very red after the ride, granted it was 50 Celsius, but still is this normal? Bike is still breaking in, there has to be a way around this.

The bike at very low revs seems like it snaps violently, for example you are taking a U-turn, in second gear (which is supposed to be 1st I know), so you let the revs drop too much and you apply throttle and it feels like the bike wants to snap and break the front end. Again, normal?

toss the cats, get yourself some carbon fiber cans, mind you it doesnt help my Arrow Racing midpipe is so much bigger than stock.. yeah she's hot, deal with it :dunno

:lol

Reflash and proper tuning will dial in the throttle response very nicely.

Heat? That's just something you'll have to deal with. There are other bikes out there that "feel" hotter than this bike.

I got TCS to come on the other day getting on the freeway with it on max. Front end was up a little from a power wheelie, the TCS kicked in and brought it back down gently.

Drop the cat and flash the ECU, it'll keep it from cooking your ass and right leg. However the bike is still hot and the plastics vent the radiator right into your shins.

I noticed my R6 and R1 were both snappy during break in, they seemed to smooth out a little around 1000 miles, but it could have been me adjusting to it.

Question: when I pull the clutch in there is no rattle at all in the lever, but when I let it go I can feel some rattle through the actual lever. Is this normal, only have about 350KM so far so still breaking her in.
