Hello everyone. Just picked yamaha r1 2009 and they told me those r1s have problem with stator and crankshaft bearings, did any factory make upgrade about stator and bearings?

The 2009 r1 doesn't have the stator issue, not sure about the bearings.

Are you sure? I heard a lot about the stator.

09 got the revised stator iirc.

With the bearings, if you keep her spun up she'll have good oil pressure and you'll be fine. If you lug her, you're gonna have a bad time. Don't lug the motor, let her stretch a little before you shift.
