Hello all!

So the r1 I have is able to start. But only on the 2nd time of trying since the starter was replaced. Then after that it will start on the button. Sounds like the engine wants to get going, then on a second try it will fire no problem.

So the r1 I have is able to start. But only on the 2nd time of trying since the starter was replaced. Then after that it will start on the button. Sounds like the engine wants to get going, then on a second try it will fire no problem.

It’s trying to get enough fuel pressure on the first start and it’s a cold start. Very typical of the beast. Mine does the same thing. No worries

Sounds normal for a 2009 - 2014 R1.

Thanks all. The r1 runs OK with no major problems after a cold start and when it gets up to temperature.
