Yes it will. The only problem with it is that the 5JJ liked the 4-1setup and hates the 4-2-1 set up from the 02-03 models.

I looked at the ebay link and its real expensive. I am using the existing header system (4-1) from the 01 and wanting to put a high-mount pipe and muffler that is from a 02/03 model and hence asking if it would slip on (the pipe from 02 to the header from 01). thank you!

I would say yes but I'm not super duper sure! Ask the seller to wrap a wire around the pipe and measure it.

The slip on gasket is the same from 98-03 so yes the pipe will fit on the header... The main differences in midpipe from 00-01 to 02-03 is the angle of the bends and length.. But beings the 02-03 swingarm is just a braced version of 00-01 It should work... I swear I've seen it done in the past
