Sounds 100% normal to me.... that's the Yamaha tick!

An exhaust leak doesn't "click." But you can get a spray bottle and add some water and a little bit of dish soap and spray it on the exhaust. If you see bubbles... there's your leak.

I thought so too. Sounds like just engine noise but wanted to confirm to be 100% sure.

It has Titanium headers so don’t want to spray anything in case it tarnishes the titanium.

 

Sounds 100% normal to me too. In the future, if you want to check for an exhaust leak, you can smoke test it with dry ice.

This is done through the exhaust outlet with the engine off. Some prefer cigar smoke. Either will work.
