Probably headlight relays, there are two exactly the same part.

Do they look like this?

 

No man it's a small black square connected to what looks like a white connector it has a metal part inside with pins on it it's about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch

 

I guess it's this one...
6-pin connector with a jumper connecting them all to ground.
Not sure but might only be on non US bikes(?)
Strange jumpers can be for some optional anti theaft device or something else..

Could that stop a cluster working? If cluster dosnt self check or come on when key is turned on?iv got No revs no speedo but indicators fine high beam fine and bike runs no problem

 

I'm not sure but I don't think so..
I tried to measure where each pin where connected but all ground wires in the other connectors had contact even though the jumper was removed (?!)

I read a nother thread that it's very important that the black ground wire that is connected with a screw to the instrument cluster make good connection to ground..
