hey guys just wondering what mileage ppl are getting for their full exhausts with a map on their 09 r1's

i have a full leo vince evo II system with the leo vince FAST II fuel unit. it has a custom map done @ leo vince and showing 156horsepower.

my last avg mpg showed 25.7, is it really that low with a full system/custom map?????

After I did the work thats on my signature, I was getting 70-80 miles a tank.:dundun:

Mileage? What's that?

Looks like you've had a few unpleasant surprises since you bought your R1!

I don't ride much street, but as I recall with 3/4 exhaust and a flashed ECU I get around 120miles on the tank before light comes on. At the track it's surprisingly efficient, around 70 or so, depending on the track and how hard I'm riding it that day.

Better than my mazdaspeed3 at the track - gets 6-7mpg.

I went 133 miles the other day on the freeway/highway using average throttle mostly cruising in the 5-6k rpm range. That's on pump gas. I have just the basic default map from flash-tune, nothing custom with a 3/4 exhaust. Feels like I get maybe between 80-90 miles before the light comes on with street and country road riding.

I just installed a full leo vince factory evo2 system too! i haven't ridden her much yet to tell you how my fuel economy is but I would bet somewhere around 130 miler per tank average. My 04 CBR1000RR was horrible on gas too but i beat the crap out of that bike. I hope this one is around the same. Riding her around in stock form wasn't that bad on fuel but she sure did run hot!. i hope the full exhaust helps my heat issues. Anyone have any good custom maps that they would like to share? i had motomummy preload my PC5 with whatever their generic map is for my system. I hope it works out well unless someone has something better.

thats what i was thinking..!! as soon as i see someone bitching about mileage.. i check for -1 sprocket on their sig.. i got lazy with yours... hahhahah..

no shit.. you revv the shit out of it all the time.. if i'm out having fun and schooling my mates on our local golden twisties... fack... i better load up gas station search on my GPS first.. okay lets go.!! hahahha..

its still a crossplane ... mileage is a little less than your std i4...

8-10k rpms!!! bwwaahahha... you may as well flip your gas tank and leave the gas cap off... :lol

still though.. this is what i notices as well. 28mpg and i'm flogging this bitch around to no end... laying
down 160HP at the wheel!?? fack me... gotta love it...

here's a good one though... difference in mileage between an 02 f4i honda 600cc & my tuned-reflashed 09 crossplane w/ 160rwhp, at the pump?

exact same distance travelled, in the twisties... only difference is the honda rider had not ridden that area before...

/we both gassed up at the same time prior to shooting up the mountain and down the other side up to the border..

funny thing is both my riding mates kept telling me they were hitting triple digits just to keep up...
i turned to them n' showed them my gps top speed.. they couldnt believe it was actually a good 40kph
on avg lower than what they had to do in order to keep up..

i told them i was cheating.. my ecu is re-programmed... ahhh. that explains it they says... :lol

*can i have a drum roll please!*.. cost to me! 2 bucks more at the pump!!
i'm not sure how much gas an f41 tank gets though... :lol
