I just got a 1998 , wheels are a satin aluminum finish. I'm also looking into a re-paint due to some minor surface corrosion . Was looking at VHT aluminum wheel paint ..... Any one have any input ?

 

My 98 R&W where matt black. Stock, never touched.

Going to be mat black metallic. The '98 offered a satin silver that would look nice on there, but, while it would closely match the frame, it wouldn't technically be correct.

 

My 99 were that grey alloy color

Wheels are painted and new tyres , I bought new bolts for the brake disks as well , she should look tops when back together

I went a little darker with mine . Kinda matches the filler panels on the gas tank .....

 

It seems to me that black will always be relevant, but if it seems boring, then stickers will help.
