I've always wanted to get a 500cc 2 stroke. Alot of guys get RG500 and fit the engines into a RGV250 chassis and man those things rock.
Damn the powerband on those things would be wicked.

Sweet!!..I used to race an RG and (back then), the power was awsome. To have a two stroke with that power and what surrounds it...just...sweet.

 

i was thinking those 500cc 2 stokes put out 200+ hp?

This is a very good friend of mine and I'm lucky enough to be one of a very few people who've ridden it. Absolutely insane but handles like a pig on acid and pies...

I almost cried when they switched the 500cc 200+hp YSR's, NSR's, and RGV's (etc) 4 cylinder engines to the "big bang" configuration...was ready to throw myself off a cliff when they went 4-stroke. Racing hasn't been the same since the pre "big bang" 2-stroke days, it's not even exciting to watch today's MotoGP racing in comparison.
