Ok, for those of you who have placed deposits on 07's what kind of prices are you being quoted? Here is what I have from a local dealer. I realize that State Doc fees, taxes, and registration will vary from state to state, but I would like to know what everyone is being quoted for delivery of an 07 before the end of the year?

2007 Yamaha YZFR-1 Blue $10845.00
Documentation $189.00
Registration $95.00
Tax $662.04
Total $11791.04

2007 Yamaha YZFR-1 Charcoal $10925.00
Documentation $189.00
Registration $95.00
Tax $666.84
Total $11875.84

Alamo cycle plex quoted me 9600 for the R6 Raven 07 and one of my freinds bought the 07 Red R6 with some goodies for 11K Not sure what goodies But I would guess Safety Gear.

I should have stated in the title, that I was looking for 07 R1 pricing. I think it may get real confusing, real quickly, if everyone is posting R1 and R6 pricing. :dunno

#5 ·
I do not think their will be any confusion. I just posted the R6 because I could not get a straight answer on the R1 and I thought the R6 was good information. I am sure sombody will inquire about it.

:yesnod - I did not post the name of the shop so it would not create any problems. I did however promise a buddy who's relative works at another shop that I would give him a shot at the deal. :dunno

I have spent ALOT of money over the years at this dealer, and quite a few of the Miami group are personal friends with a lot of the employees there. I was thinking that people were going to come on here flaming about what awesome deals they were getting :dunno

If you cant get OTD for less than 11k then you are buying at the wrong dealerships. You guys need to shop at smaller shops, dont go to these megaplex places that sell hundreds of bikes - if you do bring vasoline to the dealership with you.

It might take a while to find someone who appreciates your business.

Come on lurker, I want everyone to post what they are paying so we can all be informed. With comments like that people are not going to want to post :rant

I posted a real life quote and not a dream, if you do not have an actual post, then get off my thread!

Hey if you wanna go put money down to be first in line for a bike that nobody even knows will be a winner or not be my guest. 9/10 of you guys never buy the bike anyways, Ive had dealers beg me to come buy 1000cc bikes that had deposits on them late in the summer for fantastic prices.

I will wait till September time frame and get one for a lot less money IF the bike turns out to be a winner.

i understand if u staying in US or canada.... but the price is in singapore.... i think thats the best i can get compare to malaysia or indonesia where it will cost double or almost tripple what we are paying. :thumbup .. cant be happier anymore.... jus wondering when is the delivery date... anyone can confirm?... cant wait for it any longer... :boobies

#21 ·
I got quoted $12500, with tax, title, license...blah blah blah. On a delivery date, nothing specific.........December. My guy figures after the big motorcycle show on the 1-3 of Dec. Doesn't really matter anymore, the riding season is pretty much over up here except for the odd day when it is not raining.....I still can't wait though!!:rock :rock :rock :rock

Your prices seem cool, about ÂŁ6250. Over here, I have been quoted about ÂŁ9,500, thats about US$ 18,000.

And we cant get them in red and black

Steve
:drunk: i count myself lucky then... wonder how come england price more expensive than here.. may be they really manufacture it in jpan... so the distance coming here compare over to your shore is still very near.... :thumbup

I have another dealer who is closer to my house, and I called them today. I have done some business with them, but not too much compared to the dealer that I posted the quote from. They came in at $11,690 OTD without knowing the first quote, $100 cheaper than my previous quote, and they will guarantee me the 1st blue bike they receive. They did say that December is the hope, but not yet guaranteed. They claimed that anyone who guaranteed a delivery date as of yet is bs'ing. :dunno

Nice that $800 less than I can get :bow What is your sales tax up there, and are you transferring a plate, or getting a new one?

#37 ·
So far we have a best price $10,900 in CO, and a high price (sorry pinch) of $12,400 in FL. :dunno

#39 ·
GWH, now you need to find a nice 98 - 01 model to pretty much complete the R1 trilogy stable of bikes :yesnod

#41 ·
I might need to buy one since Yamaha makes us wait months after the expected release date everytime they change something. Rumor has it that they released a notice on the system (I forget what its called) that they are delayed until atleast January. Oh well my Marchesini's will still look good under the christmas tree until then.

#48 ·
At the rate that :fork is going no one will see a bike until atleast March of 07
