Does Fontana Village have wifi by chance?

 

In the lobby and in the rooms at the lodge. You'll usually find a group of people there in the mornings. :fact

Awesome! We'll be staying in the lodge.

 

It's usually slow as molasses in the winter time first thing in the morning though.

 

Our group usually goes there in the afternoon after dinner, then we return to Shuckstack.

 

Not looking forward to this 13-14 hour drive. Leaving in under 7 hours. Hopefully... I'll be at the cabin around 2-3pm tomorrow. :fact

Just got a call from LeanyamR6 and Skeeter. They were at a Gas station in Tellico. They just rode the Cherehola with a bunch of other folks and are having a great time.
I asked them to make sure some spuds get fired off tonite!:hammer::drunk:

This year I found a fun way back that was sweet roads all the way to the highway. I think it was 301.

We camped in Stecoah. 28 from Fontanna, to Franklin would drive you insane! Lot's of miles of smiles!:thumbup

There's a small section before the bridge near Fontanna that is pretty rough right now that's not fun in my book.:fact

 

Just got back from the Skyway run with Skeeter and the rest. We had a blast. No cops, no accidents. We kind of left the new guys back a bit to catch up but..:sing: Weather is perfect too. Not hot at all and not to sunny. Had some harley losers flip us off after we buzzed them too. :hammer:

I joined two clubs in one day today!

I joined the knee dragging club! I dragged first on the skyway a few corners and then hit the dragon. I had a nice rhythm going and was killing it.

Then I stopped at the overlook but my riding partner kept going down. So, I headed down after him after a few minutes. He turned around and so did I. I was then leading back to the CROT and about 6 corners down from the overlook and i was dragging knee around a uphill left hander when I got on the double yellow and the tire gave out. Lowsided it into the ditch, Not a scratch or bruise on me. So, I joined the club of those who have gone down.

Going to wheelers tomorrow to get a new fairing stay or get the old one welded back together then should be back up and running! I crashed and this place is still a blast and I'm ready to get back out there! Pics will be up soon of the wreck.

Good luck with the repairs. If nothing else you can get naked and ride without the fairings.
