I had a two brothers on my old cbr900rr. It was a good system. Not overly loud and it lasted until I sold it with 40k plus on the odo...at this point any slip on is going to give the new R1 gains...its also made in the USA. They do look a bit longish though...

Ok, so who is gonna provide a great FULL exhaust for the 09' R1?

Aside from Akrapovic (Bogie this means you)

Graves does nothing for me either :dunno

Arata had to get Dynojet UK to talk to Yamaha so they could have a test bike. This was about a month ago for what I heard. So they are still working on something. Leo Vince has something for the race bikes but nothing for the street yet. Haven't heard anything from Arrow.

LMAO! Those brand names don't belong in a "two-brothers" thread :hammer:

Personally I'm gonna go with a full race set up. Termi is my first choice but Leo Vince or Arata are gonna be nice to see the results as well before I buy. I guess the first thing I need to worry about is the bike actually landing up in my garage :dundun:

Some of the guys on here have been dogging out the 2 bros. I have an 07 R1 with the 2 bros and I've heard just about every exhaust u can put on a R1 and I think that they r by far the best sounding and most aggresive slip-ons u can get, not to mention the hp gains for a slip on. I had Akras on my 04 R1 and they were ok, but everytime my boy pulled up on his 06 w/2bros everyone would always talk about how good his bike sound. Honestly I wished 2 bros made a full system. The New R1 looks like CRAP! I'm SOOO dissapointed they would even approve that design after having one of the hottest looking 1000's ever built! The drafts of what the bike could look like b4 it came out was HOT! I was ready to spend 13k! But Damn all of that now the new motor has not produced any bigger dyno HP #'s and it looks to have a lil more torque so y would I spend my bread...to say I have new technology in the ugliest bike of the New year!

troubleq45, you like two brothuh's products and don't like the new R1 huh. Interesting.

Right, 2 Bros have sound great on any bike I've heard them on too. KLW sounds as if he's mad at 2bros..like they stole his girlfriend...lol. And to STRAT -yes I do they sound great and look pretty damn good too. My mechanic works at the yamaha dealership here in Tallahassee FL. He called me as soon as he got the bike together. For those of you who haven't heard the bike you might be HIGHLY dissapointed there too. It sounds like a weak v-twin or suped up scooter!..SERIOUSLY

LoL you guys keep sporting the two bruthas. Why exclude the mighty "Jardine" while you're at it

How could i forget "d&d" when I mention Two Brothus and Jardine? Thanks for keeping me straight!

it looks better than the stock exhaust

Man, 2 bros is the shiznite with their magnesium caps and V.A.L.E. slip on technology. Didn't u know that Jardine supplied the exhaust for the rc51 Colin rode and they make the same quality for the masses....:ugh

Quality exhaust is not measured in db's, and troubleq45, 2 bros sounds like ass compared to everything but D&D.

If the company only makes slip ons, they probably cant engineer proper exhaust, thats why they dont. They just slap em together.

how come nobody mentioned Yoshimura?? I think they make sick pipes!! looks good and sounds good, even though they sponsor suzuki. I dont like 2 brothers either, but they do sound pretty good. They actually sound better and louder than the akra on 07-08's. The slip-ons anyways.

is two bros really that bad if they are let me know so i can send them back before i put them on, or is everyone just a die hard akra fan. i had the two bros carbon fiber on my 05 and everyone said it sounded a hell of a lot better then my friends 07 with akra slip ons. If they really do sux let me know cause i will get my money back and save to get something better.
