I'm about to pull the trigger on a new 2014 R1, looking forward to making it mine and spending a long time with it. I'd appreciate any info on general mods such as exhaust systems (considering the low mount Graves), flashes, and what most like to change first on this bike.
Info on the break-in procedure is highly recommended as well as general things to look out for. I remember coming across a thread about problems with the TPS sensor but I don't know if this is an issue with the whole 9-14 generation or one or two models.
I only get 3 months warranty, so it would be good to know what to look for and get it out of the way nice and early.
I also assume the stock Dunlops are trash and need to be replaced. It's a Euro-spec model FYI.
