I have to say I'm not a Marc fan either, just the guy's arrogance and his riding style in the past just rubbed me the wrong way. One thing for sure he can never match Rossi's charisma and the way he captured his audience with his one-of-a-kind personality was hard not to fall in love with the guy. For me personally Rossi's the all-time great. He would have won back in'06 and again in 2010 if it wasn't for his injury.
2015 was just a huge scandal & everyone in the community back then knew it. Guaranteed if Rossi was starting in the top 5 of the grid at Valencia, he would have battled with Lorenzo until the end and would have finished at least second to claim his grand prize.
He would have had 12 titles to his name by then and that's why I rate him the GOAT. But what a lot of people tend to forget around here is that Giacomo Agostini still holds the most titles.
Marc could possibly win this year's title and maybe in 2026 as well who knows. But I have this funny feeling the way things are shaping up this year it almost seems like its set up for Marc to win. Unless someone steps up like Pecco or even his brother.
One more thing, has anyone notice during the interviews in Parc Ferme when the interviewer asks Alex about his race and that he almost had the win he replies, "if my brother lets me win"? He said this a few times from the start of the season. Just a thought but makes me wonder hmm...

It's called sarcasm. Even if Alex is "letting" Marc beat him (which he is not, I guarantee), do you think Pecco, Bez, Morbidelli, Marini, Diggia (all the VR46 crew) and the other 18 riders are as well?

Rossi will always be one of the greats. He loved being with the crowds. That said not everyone that races or just plain people like to be in the crowds. Kenny Roberts, Eddy Lawson, Wayne Rainey, Stoner etc . Doesn’t mean they weren’t great. MM is not only one of the greats but his ability to actually crash w/out crashing is unbelievable!! No ones been able to find the edge that far over and come back so many times w/ out calling it a miracle . It’s part of who he is and how he rides. The competition this year only is stacked with so many World champions and close racing like never before. The last of the Aliens!

It's not just Bigswole that dislikes MM, even the announcers in this video comment on him.

On a related note, I went out for a short blast today wearing my Quartararo replica helmet and I was like 10 mph faster everywhere, and it was great!

Hmmm....I'm not really a MM fan either, but if I buy his helmet I wonder if....

Can’t say that was a boring Sprint! MM so outa the seat! Question is how did he save it then end up 3rd and bam pass them all into the lead and win! Everything except for Quat trying his heart out was boring behind leaders .

Yeah El Diablo put on a rather MM esque ride yesterday...11th to 4th lap one...almost losing the front...It was great to watch but probably won't last full race distance

Well, I don't think that anyone thought that MM would go down the way he did especially after gaining a substantial lead. But he's always been his worst enemy especially when greed starts kicking in lol.
Now that the North American calendar is done with, I think this is where the series is going to start getting interesting. Starting in Qatar we will see some battles during the last laps and shake the standings a little bit going forward.
If that's the case, I think it will be great to see and make the series exciting. Because if only 1 rider starts running away with it this early it will eventually get boring. I'm already starting to feel that when I see Ducati wining it week in and week out lol. I think it's time to start seeing some of the other manufactures getting up on the podium for a change (y)

What are everyone's thoughts on the imminent Liberty Media takeover of MotoGP?

Personally I think it's horrible news and will only be the beginning of the end. F1 is a circus disguised as a race series, IMO and I fear MotoGP will turn into that too.

100% agree, I feel like it has already begun...

Let’s rewind to the start at COTA. This isn’t a dig at MM93 or what went down at race start—this is RIDE…to Survive. For the first time, we’ve got inside access: team radios, strategy calls, raw emotions. A chaotic mix of teams, tactics, and tension, all captured from every angle with cameras and mics rolling.

This is pure drama. And the star? Marc Márquez—MM93 himself. A phoenix rising from the ashes of injury, back with something to prove.

The 2025 season marks a new era: MotoGP’s own version of Drive to Survive. With an army of cameras, microphones, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes chaos, Liberty Media would be crazy not to lean into this. Honestly, the story writes itself.

Welcome to The Marquez Show—starring MM93 and his brother Álex. Two brothers, one goal: the top step of the podium. Marc, hungry to not only return, but to dominate—chasing two more titles, gunning to match the all-time record, and settle old scores. Álex, stepping out of his brother’s shadow at last, ready to prove he's more than just a famous last name.

Both riding Ducatis. One in factory red. But who will rise?

Tune in next episode to find out: will blood ties break on track, or will another former champion stir the pot even further? This is just the beginning.

really makes me even more appreciative of MotoAmerica:)

Well said 👏

Another weekend, another total domination by MM. So good to see Tossi's sad face on screen while Marc was streaking away to another win and hosing the academy riders 🤣

Gotta feel bad for Maverick... he rode the wheels off that KTM, way faster than it should be going. Rules are rules, but I hope when Pirelli takes the wheel (haha) they get rid of this stupid tire pressure BS.

Oh shit, almost forgot... poor Jorge Martin... that guy couldn't have much worse luck. Just trying to finish the race to get some data and crashes in front of Diggia, now has 8 broken ribs:

MotoGP.com said:
A further update was issued by Aprilia on Monday morning, reading: "Jorge Martin spent the night at the Hamad General Hospital. There are no traumatic alterations affecting the brain, cervical spine or abdominal organs. An update regarding the rib fractures: eight fractures affect the posterior costal arches from the first to the eighth and there are three fractures observed in the lateral arches from the seventh to the ninth. Minimal pleural swelling is also noted in the context of the known pneumothorax. Jorge will remain under observation for a few days in Hamad International Hospital until the pneumothorax resolves. We will update you as soon as we will have relevant news."

I bet Martin is really questioning his decision of Aprilia.
He could’ve stayed on a Pramac Duc as champion and a contender this year .
It’s very obvious that Ducati made correct decision on MM as factory rider. They went off of lots of data and it’s evident that he’s destroying the competition. Pecca better do something or maybe little bro will take his position next year.
