Amazing the 100 watters never melted anything. I had a set of them melt my harness... thats when I started Kryptonbulbs.com and I only sell stock wattages with 1 exception (H6M, stock is 35W and I sell 45W)

 

wow i bought a relay harness for my 55w hid kit, and you are running 100w on stock harness. thats gutsy but if it works it works. i might look into buying some 100s for my highbeams because i am currently deciding weather to do hids or something else.

 

Is it actually 100W or as bright as 100W?

 

100W. there is a stamp on the bulb fixture saying, "90/100W". when i touched the headlight lens of the 90/100, it definitely felt warmer than the 55/60W. maybe i am just lucky or something, but no signs of anything melting...

i'm sure i could still operate my bike with those 90/100 for quite some time before head lens get a bit faded by the heat.


CORRECTION: I decided to test out the bulbs again in a pitch black road and the 90/100W is a whole lot brighter than the 55/60W. My eyes were probably playing tricks on me the first time i tested them.. hahaaha. :saw: The high beam is extremely bright. I'll keep these for night riding whenever..

I don't ride at night so i guess the 55/60 will be fine for now.

 

55/100's are my favorite.. Those 90/100 & 90/130's dont last very long.
