A while back I posted my crash story. Here is a before and after.

When I bought my bike I wanted a yellow one but the dealer made me a good deal on a blue one so he could unload it. After the wreck I had to replace most of the body panels so I ordered the yellow since it was the same price.

With the insurance check I was able to

replace all the bodywork
a new set of pazzo levers
a new puig windscreen (still on back order)
velocity stacks
Greggs customs flushmounts
Clear Alternatives Rear Light
Graves frame sliders
a new helmet & jacket
a new laptop
and $$$ leftover.

Yes I did the work my self. The credit goes to the R1. even though it had $5200 in damage, it has all cosmetic. after the wreck I was able to pick it up, start it, and drive it onto the trailer. It was very easy to replace all of the body panels. The hardest part was the fuel pump, but after reading a few post on this forum I was able to swap the tank.

I also sent my forks to Dan Kyle Racing. I thought they were bent. They inspected them and reported that they were not bent. They also preset the forks for me based on weight and the type of roads I drive on. HUGE difference. They did great work.
