Whats everyones take on the Ti-Techs, like/dislikes, fitment etc.

I trashed my beloved OGK FF4 David Jeffries rep., and they are no longer available, even in Japan, and there really isn't any graphics that appeal to me except the limited edition FF4R, and those are sold out.

I really like the Shoei X11 & Arai Corsair, but since the cost of the lid is coming out of my pocket and not the insurances (long story) companies, the $600-$650 for both of those is a bit steep for my budget right now.

In shopping around I've found I can get the VR46 for $479 w/free shipping, which looks pretty good, give me some feedback :thumbup

sorry to hear about your accident Rorlow.
don"t have any opinions on AGV"s.....never tried one one.

Have you looked into Shark? I been using one since beginning of the season and love it. There is some killer deals on EBAY for them. Fit is about 90% comparable to my Arai RX7RR, just a little different in the ear area. Ventilation is the best I"ve ever had, not any noisier than the Arai. Graphics are awesome. Shield is easy to change.

The review of the Ti-Tech on Superbike mag was not that good. If i were on the market for a new lid i'd get the Sharl RSR2.

also considering this one, its $10.00 more, must be the graphics I guess. Its a little older scheme, but a classic :yesnod
Ron, I had this one, the second picture. I did not care for the Ti Tech at all. :fact First off, it's a very very tight fitting helmet that's really made for racing. I have a small head and got the medium/large Ti Tech and it hurt to wear it because it was to small. Keep in mind the padding on this helmet is very thick. On that dark smoke visor I had issues with it starting to crystallize and spider web all over. I sent the visor back and got another one, but it did the same exact thing. I also had a whistling sound at certain speeds. The helmet is light, but it has a larger shell than most others. I'm not knocking the quality at all. It's a well made helmet. I ended up selling it on eBay since I never wore it that much. Personally, I think it's better suited for the track than the street, but that's just my opinion.

I purchased the agv ti-tech about 3 weeks ago and love it. It has a snug fit but it is not uncomfortable. I went up one size from my shoei. I would buy another if I had the money. I would like to have the vr46 too.

Got mine back in December last year..Im stoaked with it:rock Took a little longer to break in compared to my Arai RX 7,but the fit was perfect after it did.Being a medium Ron,Id look at getting the medium small for that extra snug fit (as they dont come in a straight medium..only med/small, med/large)

As far as reviews go,10x quieter than my Arai, vents work well, couldnt ask for a better fit. Only slightly negative thing is that you'll more than likely have to pull the straps out to the side and push your ear up after you put the lid on-but used to that so it doesnt bother me at all:hellobye

Any other q's,feel free to ask Ron,

Where did you get those decals on your face shield from?
