I think you have to wait a couple of months more to see them, and will probably be new color schemes and lag free bikes. I wish they put some stronger rearsets too.

it wont be anything special, paint, no lag. i would rather buy a left over 07 and save some cash.

 

I know its a little early but Suzuki had their little convention and gave some insight on what is coming out in 08' so i was wondering if anyone has heard anything..... usually the new bikes start coming in in novenmber or so....

Usually announce the specs sometime around the first week in September. Bike's are normally available sometime in December except when like the '07 came out as a major model change and then you normally have to wait until January. Mine didn't get in until March and I had one of the first charcoals in PA.

'08 R1 prob just gonna have different paint and maybe special 10th year paint job edition, whoopee!.... I am more interested in seeing what Kawasaki and Honda have up their sleeve, redesigned models are more interesting to me then paint and stickers.

 

Well, I can tell you this much, their won't be too much difference between the 07 and 08. Most likely color changes to throw off the consumer. The engineers have been too busy figuring out the "lag issue" and the "engine Knocking" pinging sound...So don't get too excited fellow...it would only be a second generation 07....Anyone who tells you otherwise, is full of crap!

 

Im hoping to see the red/white scheme make a comeback in the US. The Raptor 700s have that color for 08 so I wouldnt be surprised. Ive held on to my 99 R1 for too long now and id love to have a 08 r6 in red and white. I heard honda is changing the CBR around a little too. I guess we will wait and see!

 

yeah deffinately more excited about the cbr's a freind of mine at a shop heard that they are freeing up LOTS of weaght like30 lbs or so from mics stuff, also they may have an option for factory upgrades such as marchesini rims slipper clutches so on...cant immagine where they got that from, anyways yeah im hoping that they go crazy on it i like the cbrs and how they look but as of now....heavy and slow....CHANGE IT UP HONDA!!!
