Hey mates,
I bought Corsair V from US about 3 months back and it started to crack near the chin. I took a pic this morning.
I've never dropped the helmet and only worn it few times. Just wanted to check where do I stand on this.

Will my purchase cover the warranty?

Arai has a great warranty, you need to call them and let them know what's up. They will guide you in the right direction. I had the lower vent on my helmet break and I happen to notice it at the Indy GP. They had a booth there so I took it over. They grabbed the helmet and replace all the vent parts right there on the spot.

Arai has some of the best, easiest warranty coverage I've ever dealt with.

Register your helmet with them online and you might not ever even have to send it in. They have sent me several small replacement parts after opening a claim online.

Fast, easy.....I will never not look to Arai for my first choice when purchasing a helmet.

From what I can see from your picture, it looks as though the crack is only in the air vent assembly and is not in the actual helmet shell. What I'm trying to say is, and this only my opinion, it looks as though you can still safely use the helmet until you can send it in for warranty. Of course, the safest path to take is not to use it until its replaced. Just saying!

call up ARAI or send an email to them thru your account on their website from when you registered.

i sent mine in last winter to get checked out cuz i dropped it and wanted to make sure it didnt have a hairline fracture.

the visor was scratched up from when i dropped it.

when i got the helmet back they had put a new visor on free of charge and i didnt even ask or anything.

No worries mate. :)....almost...

I checked their listings and couldn't find one for the Corsair V. I also checked my Arai's, and the vent on the Corsair V is different from the RX7RR, and the Vector 2. So you'll have to contact them, or get your shop to, to make sure you get the right one. :thumbup
