Bazzaz connection problems

Is there some "set in stone" way or sequence that you have to do to connect your computer to the Bazzaz Z-FI? I have tried it with the bike off, on, running, all 4 USB ports on my laptop, nothing. I did not get a cd but they have links to their software on their website. Is that everything that you need to run the system? All it says is "Tried all available ports (COM3), without success." What am I doing wrong? Or do I have a faulty unit? Any USB 2.0 cord should work if I'm not mistaken right? I need answers quickly...

You might want to look at your device manager and check what your com 3 port is.. Its normally not a usb port. I've seen alot of software have options tabs where you can selected the port you want to connect to.

Sorry i don't have a bazzaz yet so i can't tell you where to look.. I would also download the usb driver above.

Sorry guys I guess I should've updated my thread. I got this fixed shortly after I posted it. My .net 2.0 framework was out of date and it wouldn't let the computer and Bazzaz connect. Somehow my windows updates got turned off and I didn't know. After I downloaded the required updates it worked like a charm. And by the way, Bazzaz customer support is the best, period.
