Just installed these babies, and weighted them against the oem's.

Ok OEM rotor weights 1.481kg or 3.42lbs

Braketech 330mm axis iron rotor weighted in at 1.576kg or 3.77lbs

Difference of 95grams per rotor or 190grams per set that's .419lbs per set.

OEM bolts came in at 89grams or 3.1 ounces

Probolts TI Bolts 45grams or 1.6 onces. That's half the weight!

So you can offset the difference a bit with the TI Bolts to be 145grams or .32lbs

Ok here is my feedback on these rotors, fist impression I didn't even realize I changed rotors, then I started to realize I was having more feeling at the lever in trail braking the bike would turn better while on the brakes, as well as I didn't have an on/off feeling at all when realising the lever in the corners.

Now in braking power I just wanted to give some history I've already upgraded to the Brembo Billet MC and Z04 pads months ago and this was a night and day difference in stopping power. I never got into a moment that I felt I couldn't stop the bike the bike stops on a dime, I'd say that it was a little noticeable increase in stopping power but maybe if I had put rotors on first I'd be able to tell more of a difference.

Since this weekend wasn't for points I didn't change out the brake fluid so it was a little old and I'd say brake fade was at a minimum and due to the old fluid but nothing that ever effected the performance of the bike braking. I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it I'd say the biggest thing I noticed was the brake feeling, but if you could only choose one thing the brembo billet mc makes the biggest change in braking power. This is how they ended up looking.* Oh yeah and I got 3rd on August 13th we race for points everything will be new on the bike I'm expecting to do my personal best lap time then.

That picture is awesome!

Thanks for the feedback.
Iron rotors in general always improve feeling and getting them from Braketech will guarantee you get a top notch product. Good luck with future races and if you don't already have a thread documenting your progress then think about starting one, it would be great to follow your racing. :burnout:

What pads did you use? I know that they say to only use organic pads unless you don't care about rotor life.
