I've been a member for a few months now and have just been poking around for tips and info and figured my accident would be a good first thread start for me.
I was trying to enjoy a 60 degree January day in CT, which is pretty rear and not even a mile away from my home this guy decides to do a U turn across two lanes from a parked position along the curb. I just remember my rear wheel coming up off the ground then me hitting the ground. I didn't see this pic until I got out of the hospital and still can't figure out how my bike ended up in the position it did. There is absolutely no damage to the front of the bike besides the right mirror fell off, so I never actually hit the car with the bike.
I did break my left wrist and ripped tendons in my left knee but so glad that was all that happened. I'm also looking for a new tail fairing so when my wrist is all better the bike will be ready to roll
