Any one know what the Driven sprocket nuts should be torqued to? I'm getting them fitted now and need to know this. The oe nuts are 72ft/lbs but this will be way too much for the Driven items.
Help!

Those aluminum nuts suck. I don't have my info from Probolt with me but the toque specs on aluminum nuts are significantly less. I had some LP ones on my wife's 250 and they stripped long before I got them to spec. I won't use anything other than Ti for structural fasteners. The torque specs are the same as steel and the weight is almost half...plus they look pretty FOREVER!!
The OEM figure of 72 ft/lbs given in the manual is wrong anyway and shouls only be about 28 ft/lbs so don't go any where near 72 with driven nuts :fact
Yeah I just put a Driven sprocket on my 09, I went for 35 lb/ft. I put Rethanl sprockets on my R6 and tried to get it to spec (72 lb/ft) and the stud broke....yamaha sent me a new cush driver after I got off the phone with them about it...
What kind of thread lock did you go with if I might ask? I'm planning on putting mine back on tonight and have several different ones. I'll shoot for 30-35 lbs and maybe a dab of thread lock.
